I used this recipe for an event at work. It went over really well!! I also enjoyed the leftover filling and used it for taco dip! I wanted to make things easy and made my own recipe by combining this one w/ another:1 container (8 ounce size) sour cream1 container (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened1 can (4 ounce size) diced green chiles, well drained1 jar (16 oz) salsa1 cups grated Cheddar cheese onion powder, to tastegarlic powder, to taste1 packet of taco seasoningPaprika &/or cayenne pepper, to tasteFlour tortillas (I had only big ones on hand and just scooped filing in them and wrapped them and cut them up into little pieces - think I used 3 or 4 big tortillas for ½ the filling)

Light little pinwheels that have quite a bit of flavor. Plus, they are easy to make and can be made ahead of time. I made them about 12 hours before we tested them and they held up well.

I've been making these since I was 8 years old. They are a great party dish and remind me of summer. I use salsa and dice up some jalepenos in my recipe. We don't use chiles. But the salsa and peppers add taste and texture to the recipe. I make a mild and hot batch and add just a bit more jalepenos and some of the juice to kick up the flavor.

A friend brought these to a Church pot luck and they were great! She used wheat tortillas and added some well drained salsa to the mix. Her plate went home totally empty.

To add some spice and pizzaz to this recipe, mix in one envelope of Hidden Valley Ranch's Fiesta Ranch powder.

Easy to make and a great party bringer however it lacks taste. I found it to be boring. It taste like cream cheese, sour cream and bread.
